Marianne McLean

2023 Volunteer of the Year

Marianne McLean attended Memorial High School in Tulsa, but graduated from high school in Atlanta, GA. She went on to attend college at Georgia State University. Following graduation, she started out in the banking field, but after returning to Tulsa, unexpectedly ended up with a wonderful job in the oil and gas industry. After many years as assistant to Robert W. Berry and a vice president of Berry Ventures, Inc., she retired at the end of December 2022.

She has been married to John for 47 years, and they have one son, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing yoga, reading and traveling.

Her volunteer work at Exodus House began in 2021 through the ministry at her church, First Methodist of Owasso, but she really became involved as a volunteer in January 2023. She always looks forward to being at Exodus House, and feels that God has blessed her greatly with this opportunity to serve and to get to know some amazing people.
