COVID-19 Response
CJAMM Family,
CJAMM is taking precautions to keep all of our residents, volunteers, and staff safe. We know that this is a temporary situation, but are taking the health and safety of everyone very seriously.
Our Exodus House Residents are going to work as able. We are asking volunteers to call and check on residents and staff but not to come to the sites. Our residents are being given online options to do their program work and remain in recovery. All in person programs are being postponed. DOC is not releasing people on GPS for 30 days and transportation is not being provided by facilities for those not on GPS. Our Exodus House Staff will be doing the transportation at this time.
We are asking that each person contact their local Redemption Mission for their protocol. We know that our pastors are well equipped with the guidance of the Bishop and Cabinet to navigate each congregation.
New Day Camp is being postponed until October 16-18, 2020. Please watch for updates. Take this time to sign up online at www.okcamps.org to be a volunteer. Campers and families please email all applications as able to office@cjamm.org.
The CJAMM main office is working remotely which means we are relying on technology to conduct business. I will be continuing to work with CJAMM until this situation passes to ensure CJAMM will remain thriving.
Looking for ways to help from home? Write a letter to our residents to encourage them on their journey. Pray for our residents and staff. Send in pictures and stories to kristen@cjamm.org for our Facebook page. Donate money to pay residents utility bills while they may be unable to go to work during the next few days.
Thank you for all you do and together we will break the generational cycles of incarceration,
Kristen Harlin,
Executive Director
