It’s hard to believe that it’s 2023. There’s an American singer-songwriter named 23. 23andMe is the well-known DNA genetic testing science. However, at Exodus House OKC and Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries (CJAMM), we are claiming Psalm 23….. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want……”
Let me explain. With 2023 came an unforeseen blow to us at Exodus House OKC. Insurance examiners have determined some sizeable electrical corrections needed because of the age of our building, along with some repairs needed in our parking lot that could be a safety issue. We have secured bids that are….. are you ready for this….. just shy of $23,000. It will be necessary for us to correct these immediately to maintain insurance on the property.
Of course, these were totally unexpected and not in our budget.
We are prayerfully claiming peace from our Heavenly Father that we are doing His business and His faithful will rally around to give this $23,000.
We are stepping out in faith to start the electrical repairs and corrective measures for the parking lot in hopes the dollars will arrive by the time we need to pay the bills. Pray with us….. even 23 times a day….. about securing these dollars.
