CJAMM NAMES NEW BOARD MEMBER AND FINANCE CHAIRMAN

OKLAHOMA CITY – – Criminal Justice and Mercy Ministries (CJAMM) has named Alan R. Berryman as a new board member and chairman of the finance committee, according to Scott Davis, board chairman.

Berryman has 45 years of professional and executive financial management, accounting, and general management experience serving several Oklahoma companies. Most recently, Berryman served as board member, executive vice president and CFO at Prime Bank in Edmond.

“I appreciate the ministry of CJAMM. It’s rewarding to hear the success stories of individuals being released and learning how to safely navigate life,” said Berryman.

CJAMM is a statewide, faith-based, re-entry program for individuals being released from incarceration. In addition, CJAMM conducts camps, called New Day Camps, for children of incarcerated parents. “Our goal is to help break the generational cycles of incarceration. Our hope is that through their experience at camp, they will learn life and relationship skills that will help them make good life choices,” shared Davis.

CJAMM operates Exodus House Tulsa and Parsonage House Tulsa, Exodus House Oklahoma City and is affiliated with Penn Avenue Redemption Church, OKC; Aldersgate Redemption Mission in Lawton and Tulsa Redemption Mission.

“CJAMM has an impressive 1.7% recidivism rate for those graduating from our program,” continued Davis. “We look forward to Alan’s expertise to increase our positive influence on even more lives in Oklahoma.”
